Hank came to Robyn's Nest on 1/17/16 after hanging around someone's house for about a year. It turns out he is front declawed and should not be outside alone! He had a microchip that we traced to the original owner but he has been given to new people a couple times since then. He is a black and white domestic shorthair. He is a neutered male with green eyes. He was adopted out and has since been returned to us because he did not fit in with the owner's lifestyle.  We don't know for sure how long he was on the streets, but he definitely knows the ropes.  Hank's drive to find something to eat can get him into trouble.  He recently had to have surgery to remove part of a croc pot that he had swallowed, therefore he will need someone dedicated to keeping him safe.  He also knows how to open cabinets and knock over trash cans, so he needs a child (kitty) proofed house.  Hank will charm you with his sociable personality.  Hank gets along with all animals but can be very vocal when interacting.   He was born around 8/15/11.  Hank knows the commands "sit " and "get down".  He is a very personable boy and loves nibbling on your chin when he snuggles.  He is very good at using his litter box and isn't picky about what kind of box or litter you give him.  He is very entertaining and enjoys drinking from the sink or tub and loves playing with treat toys.  He loves sleeping as close as he can to someone at night and enjoys going outside (supervised or in a cat proof fence of course!)
