Home / Successful Adoptions / Prince
Prince is a charming, 10-year-old terrier mixed pup! This boy can be a lap dog, but has plenty of energy! It's hard to believe he's 10!! He's 23 pounds but we are working on losing a few pounds. Prince loves to play fetch with his tennis ball! Prince likes to follow his foster mom around and never leaves her side.
He gets along, for the most part, with his foster sisters, a pug mix and a cat as long as they give him enough space, especially when he is playing with his toy or eating. Prince might be better in a home without cats, or at least with close supervision, as he tends to get agitated if his space is invaded. He prefers alone time with his human without feline interference. He is a little moody when he is told no and does not care for loud sounds. Prince prefers adults or older children who can give him his space.
Prince is crate trained and very well behaved overall. Prince has had several accidents since he has been with his foster mom, but they are working on fine tuning his housetraining. He comes when called and travels well. Prince walks well on a leash and gets excited when he sees his leash. He likes his chest rubbed and to sleep under the covers with his human.
Prince will be the perfect baby for the person that chooses to give him a loving, forever home. Prince was surrendered to us on 11/1/17. He has unfortunately been in several different homes. He was adopted from a shelter when he was 3 years old and the adopter passed away a couple years ago. He has since been passed around and really needs a permanent family! He is black and brown with white on his chest, and has brown eyes. He was born around 1/15/07.
