We're happy to announce...

With our annual spaghetti dinner being postponed due to Ohio’s Stay at Home order, we have had to go a new route with our fundraising.

This 8.5 x 11 inch, full color, 12-month calendar features many of our adoptable and adopted cats, several of our generous supporters and local businesses, and professional photography provided by Julie Reynolds Photography.  Check out our awesome cats and the amazing tattooed artwork of our supporters! Proceeds from your purchase of this wonderful calendar will go directly to the rescue in order to save lives!  We only have 500 available, so be sure to order yours today!

Thank you for your support! Robyn’s Nest could not operate without you!

Rat and guinea pig adoption fees have been raised to benefit the animals and the adopters.

Robyn's Nest has raised adoption fees on rats to $60 and guinea pigs to $40.   We want to explain why we decided to make  this decision.   We have started spaying and neutering all of our rats and also spaying our guinea pigs.  This has significantly raised our cost of care for these little cuties, but we are dedicated to giving the animals in our rescue the very best veterinary care available.

Everyone who has ever had a pet rat probably knows how common it is for them to develop tumors.  They are generally mammary tumors (in males and females) and they will continue to grow until they inhibit normal movement and cause pain.  They have to be surgically removed or else they will eventually be the cause for euthanasia.  Most of these tumors are caused by hormones.  Spaying and neutering rats can eliminate this type of tumor growth, which can create a longer, healthier, happier life for your little rat buddies.  It will also save you money on mass removals!

Female guinea pigs can get ovarian cysts, mammary tumors, uterine cancer and infections just like dogs and cats.  Spaying them is recommended for this reason. (Neutering male guinea pigs does not have any health benefits).

We know that you can probably buy these animals cheaper elsewhere, but by adopting from us, you can feel confident you are getting a very healthy pet.                                                                                             Sincerely, Robyn

Good things are still happening every day!

large_shoe-lover_gg59004340.jpgPLEASE, BRING ROBYN'S NEST SHOES!!

We will be losing a lot of money needed to support Robyn's Nest, due to the corona virus.

We had to cancel our pasta dinner and auction and also our yard sale. These are our major fund raisers each year. The shoes that we collect will be a huge help to us right now! We take any kind of usable shoes & any size. You can just leave them in a plastic bag outside our door.
